3rd display

Hi all,
I am very new as you can guess by my post count.
First off i want to start by thanking the founder&devs by making a awesome Distro
i really like the focus on crpytography, programming and hacktools bundled in one

How ever as you can guess from my title i have hit a snag with the os :
Today i wanted to add a third monitor how ever i get the following error:

Verifying archive integrity… All good.
Uncompressing DisplayLink Linux Driver 1.3.54 100%
DisplayLink Linux Software 1.3.54 install script called: install
Distribution discovered: Parrot 3.10 - Intruder
Unsatisfied dependencies. Missing component: Linux headers for running kernel, 4.14.0-parrot7-amd64.
This is a fatal error, cannot install DisplayLink Linux Software.

So this is on a laptop install that has a single HDMI port
I use one monitor plugged into the HDMI port that gives me two monitors (laptop monitor and the HDMI monitor)
i purchased this USB data link device:
displaylink

can not share links sorry
and this thing does not install.
I tried the install CD also no joy?

any help is appreciated

what the holy hell is that DisplayLink thing?
where have you taken it from?
how (and why) have you installed it?

have you already searched for a supported (and working) driver in the parrot/debian repositories?

my understanding is that every every monitor in linux needs its own graphic card. Display link is a usb card that works on ubuntu and i thought would work with parrot but its fine i will just use the two screens (monitor on laptop and additional monitor connected over HDMI) ))

on my laptop i am able to work with 3 screens flawlessly

What card do you use?
Also were is the repository sorry i am new Parrot

i have a laptop with one hdmi port and two mini displayport connectors, and i just have to plug the cables in and connect the monitors

thanks how are you connecting two mini display port connectors to a single hdmi port?

if you can send me a screen shot or a link to were they are i would really appreciate it much

– side note this weekends update fixed ukrainan

i have one hdmi port AND 2 mini displayport on my computer, so i can attach up to 3 external monitors
