Hello, i am puzzle with this odd behavor when my Parrot OS finish load after i login my user there this box pop up asking if i wanna check for update when click yes, then it scan and then ask me enter my administrative password, i enter it even slowly and it correct, but it keep say it the wrong password. if i go to mate terminal and do an update on that it ask for the password and i enter it and it work. but why only the popup one keep never work with my password. is it because someone tamper with my OS or am i missing something?
it requires your root password for the updates not your login password 
For me the first thing after installing a new Parrot OS is to disable System Updater in Startup Applications…
