ok I need a little bit to do some deeper research but at first glance I want to say it may be a typo in the ahci=0 command. Im able to boot with baremetal ahci0 and ahci=0 can OP post image of p20 kernel that will not boot like the p10? with both scenarios both booting and not Im not sure what exactly is going on until i have time to look into this further
This is my first time editing grub, i added them but they where not found, where do i add them and what arguments do i need? it says it couldn’t find them as it booted.
Did this and still a blank screen, i feel it may have something to do with xorg or video drivers as my hdd looks like its still running something yet can’t display it.
Do you use i386? There is a bug that is preventing the new kernel from booting on old hardware like core2duo etc. This is the problem and there isnt too much we can do on parrots end except apply the fix @amzker worked out
I’m sorry I missed the 64 bit in your chart, this is not that then. Did you install the nvidia drivers or rather a better question would be what’s your gpu situation? Let’s start there
@Amzker stop telling everyone to delete their kernel! what type of intel gpu? i would reinstall just to ensure no mistakes. Editing your grub line by hand is always frowned on due to the possibilities of messing it up really bad.
