I am brand new to the ParrotOS & the community. I am having the same problem listed here: I install ParrotOS 4.6 from the cd (.iso) & WiFi & Ethernet work fine. As soon as I installed the recommended updates, WiFi disappears from the network drop-down menu and wasn’t available. Would like to be able to run updates without fear of loosing WiFi connectivity or constantly needing to reinstall the OS. As it is, I just reinstalled from the CD and didn’t update this time and it seems to be okay for now.
Any advice about how best to proceed?
We’ve upgraded kernel to 5.1 and other drivers don’t update fast enough. That is the short story
hotwater has just fixed it sudo parrot-upgrade works 100%
