I’m not an anonsurf user. After starting it, I relaunched F.F. and was getting an error about cloudflare when trying to get back to this forum/group/community. Oh wait, no Nyx installed…

Thank you for the test. The second screenshot is expected because Vala being a I must not swear in here. It has very weird runtime error parsing cookie’s data in binary to hex (Nim is just fine).
The first error anonsurf status is weird. Both GUI and CLI are using the same way to start Nyx (I’ve just tested anonsurf status for double checking and it’s fine).

I’ve just realised that Anonsurf has a lot of grammar mistakes this whole fking time. That’s terrible Lol. Good news: This GUI’s change ID is the last major problem to fix. I’m considering correct all output messages is the medium priority task.
BTW if you didn’t notice, /etc/anonsurf/anonsurf.cfg has plenty of new options. It’s for Torrc’s generation. I couldn’t verify them all but I believe they are all good (I hope). There are some settings were removed because likely they caused no internet connection.
Bridge should support more methods (like snowflake) but I have to figure out the syntax for them so it’s a medium task too.

The change id in GUI should be fixed. ANonSurf is really close to a ready state

IDk why but snowflake is working. I don’t have resources to test firewall bypass.

You became a true dev LoL. BTW did you check /etc/anonsurf/anonsurf.cfg. You might find some interesting settings here

Newest update is 7 month old. Is anonsurf developed on and maintained? Thank you.

I’m no longer a dev of parrot. In fact, I’ve got a new job for almost 1 year.

Hello! As soon as the necessary “groundwork” for Parrot 7 is done, we will resume AnonSurf with new improvements or a complete rewrite of the project. I will still try to maintain it.

dmknght and danterolle, thank you for your effort about anonsurf. Anonsurf is an important piece of software. I got aware of parrotsec because of anonsurf. There is not much traffic on the parrotsec forum. I have questions about anonsurf. May I ask the two of you directly?

On another matter. You mentioned rewriting anonsurf. If you welcome money, are you familiar with NLnet; Apply for funding
If nlnet.nl finds anonsurf’s mission important then maybe you can get a grant.
