  • If I ping google get this error:
    ping: google.com: Temporary failure in name resolution
  • If I execute sudo anonsurf status: it asks me if I’m sure I’m running TOR;
  • If I execute sudo anonsurf status with tor browser opened gives me result and this two errors:
    17:00:57 [NYX_NOTICE] Nyx is currently running with root permissions. This isn't a good idea, nor should it be necessary. 17:00:57 [NYX_NOTICE] No nyxrc loaded, using defaults. You can customize nyx by placing a configuration file at /root/.nyx/config (see https://nyx.torproject.org/nyxrc.sample for its options).
  • Still with Tor opened I can’t browse with Firefox.

We applied a patch and we are going to test the package next week. It would be nice if you and anybody that is having this problem can help us test it.
p/s: do you run any firewall with anonsurf?

This happened to me too and is very frustrating. I hope this gets fixed because I was running the same rules as I did before with an iptables script for tor into my vpn and it was great very secure. Now I have gone over 32 hours this week trying to connect to the internet. I dont know if its ddos or something i am doing wrong or just a patch issue but I am very aggrivated about this.
