apt dist-upgrade fills ram

when i run apt dist-upgrade the ram gets full and the system crashes

Sounds like you need to make some swap space. Better yet add more RAM.

no , but grubdummy fail , repair with rescu mode text.

Same problem , but i’m looking whitch process “eat” ram , it was : apt/methods/https , full charge to the first parrot-upgrade , parrot was freez , hard reboot , 2° try to parrot-upgrade was limit but working , i’m waiting the next upgrade to see if there is same problem.

the swap (2GB) is at 2% when running the command, i wish i could add more RAM

i killed x11 ( for more RAM) and run the command again, apt seems to be using 98% of memory and completes the upgrade without getting stuck

So , there is a update now (+ 50 packages ) , and no out of ram problem .

Always after you updates recommend doing a sudo apt-get autoclean
I also have a problem with memory.
