Is there any extra steps I have to do for my adapter to work with parrot as I have already linked it using the normal way in virtualbox (plugging it in after parrot has fully loaded, adding the device to the USB list, activating it through the drop down menu under devices) yet parrot still only detects my internal wifi card, is there a solution for this? or is my adapter somehow being picked up as an ethernet device.

sudo apt install virtualbox-ext-pack 
then you have to activate the extension in the settings of virtualbox
