Choose Parrot Desktop environment

Hello everyone,
First of all thanks for the parrot sec a lot. I been using and testing parrot sec 4.7 mate and kde in VM and decided to use one of this either as my Desktop environment in my regular OS and both seems pretty cool and I’m familiar with.
But why is parrot mate is so popular than parrot KDE and does KDE have any user tracking policies or telemetry like https://community.kde.org/Policies/Telemetry_Policy which mate doesn’t.
Which one do you prefer to use? KDE or MATE

Mate uses about half the ram of KDE. Many Linux users like making use of older computers.
