Clone my current install to another pc

I have the latest version of Parrot installed on a portable 1.5 TB Western Digital drive… works great, just like installing on a normal harddrive and it’ s portable. .

It’s all updated and I use it all the time.

What I’d like to know is this…

How can I set it up so I can install my updated system to another computer while I am running it from the portable drive? I tried debian-install and the desktop installer script and they fail.
someone suggested to just copy everything from / to the other harddrive but then I would have to play with grub and whatnot too… if there’s an easier way or a tool, that’d be great…

thanx in advance for any assistance.

that seems a complicated thing to do, best way would be(if you stayed a minimum organized) to copy your essentials files, start an installation and paste

just create a folder and put everything of interest in it, most things you wont need to copy

Maybe try this
You can install grub from a live usb

thanks  very helpful
