I tried changing the parrot.script file present in the /etc/alternatives/desktop-theme/plymouth. It did work as I wanted but only at the time of shutting down. When booting freshly, the default background and logo are shown. How do I make it work at the booting time?
plymouthd.defaults points to the default
Plymouth themes are a neat introduction to scripting for the artistically minded. I assume you are running Parrot Home for this. If so Research creating plymouth themes! I look forward to seeing your progress on KDELook.org
