Not to my knowledge

Description: After executing parrot-upgrade this last monday (8/24/2020) I have experienced my Mate panels (menu bars) disappearing, usually after locking the screen, or returning from a full screen application. The tooltips and clicking still work, indicating that the panels are still loaded, just not visible on the display. It should be noted that I was using Marco Adaptive compositor for my Window manager at the time.

Switching to Compiz as my Window manager appears to eliminate this problem, which would tend to implicate Marco as the source of the bug. Therefore this post is more for informational purposes for the community, and to inform the devs in case they wanted to hold Marco back to the previous version (which functioned just fine).
