Briefly describe your issue below:
Hi all,
i have had dual boot parrot and win 8.1 (on same hard drive with 100gig partition for parrot) for a few months now and no problems until now. Last time i used parrot was jus browsing the net checking out porting 2 stroke engine sites then logged of nothing special.
Next day booting up no grub boot loader giving me option to load parrot or win, laptop booted straight into windows, I have checked and parrot is stil there with all files intact, checked bios and parrot is first option in boot menu and everything thing else looks fine in bios.
I got a corrupt grub boot loader before when i updated my bios and fixed it by loading parrot via pen and re-installing grub boot loader, but this time when i try to re-install the grub loader i have to re-install parrot which i would rather not do.
I am perplexed as to how grub disappeared, no grub error just boots straight into windows.
Any help much appreciated.
Thx
