ERROR* UVD not responding

Hi.

Is there any one who can help with this issue :

[ 11.286751] [drm:uvd_v1_0_start [radeon]] ERROR UVD not responding, trying to reset the VCPU!!!
[ 12.307157] [drm:uvd_v1_0_start [radeon]] ERROR UVD not responding, trying to reset the VCPU!!!
[ 13.327561] [drm:uvd_v1_0_start [radeon]] ERROR UVD not responding, trying to reset the VCPU!!!
[ 13.347600] [drm:uvd_v1_0_start [radeon]] ERROR UVD not responding, giving up!!!

I’ve tried all methods out there on Google and get not solved the issue!
It shows whole start up the system and I notice the system is kind slow too…

Appreciate all help!

What model gpu?

I have tow piece of AMD Radeon™ HD 6850… But it shows that I have AMD BARTS on one system info’s tool !(Se photo)

I actually tried use AMD’s help on theirs website too, it’s unfortunately dose not work too!

Do anyone know other site to get help for this issues?

please edit the default grub file with

  sudo nano /etc/default/grub

and change the line

  GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=""

to

  GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="radeon.modeset=0"

then save the file and updating the grub with

  sudo update-grub

and rebooting. If the above does not work then perhaps try out changing the

  GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="radeon.modeset=0"

to

  GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="nomodeset"
