/etc/default/grub

Hello everybody,

first sorry when my english is not so good.

I have installed parrot linux 4.4 64bit with Debian Standard method on a Intel ssd.
Now i would like to see Kernel messeges when booting the system. I changed the /etc/default/grub file. I take out quit and run update-grub.
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=""
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=“noautomount”
But that has no effect. I dont see Kernel messages when boot.

It would be nice if someone helped me.

Thanks in advance.

i beleive the only thing you want to change is instead of quiet you want verbose listed

you did a pretty good job listing the info the only suggestion i would have is to keep the template format and make sure you include if it is single boot etc.
