File explorer not working in root user.

I’ve just shifted from Kali Linux to Parrot OS. I logged in as root and I can’t open any files and cant access any folder. I can access everything on normal user like desktop, downloads, documents but they are not opening when I’m logged in as root. I’m using latest parrot os. Can anyone help me :slight_smile: ?

Log in as your regular user. If you want to access any software as root or if you’re going to run any software with administrative privileges, you should use either sudo or doas.

Additionally,
It isn’t recommended to log in as the root user.
