Firefox installation

Hi so I recently just install Parrot OS and I’m having issues with Firefox browser. It used to work few days back but now when I click on the icon it just don’t do anything anymore, I’ve tried reinstalling but that didn’t help.

Parrot Version: 5.0 (LTS)

Kernel Version: 5.10.0-6parrot1-amd64

Type firefox in the terminal or firefox-esr

I get the following output

bash: firefox: command not found

install chrome sudo apt-get install chromium then install firefox from chrome (I don’t know if the technique will help you)

It’s just that mainline firefox was removed from debian and hence the same as parrot is based on Debian
It’s been months now
Instead one can use ESR version or install latest version from snap
