when opening new tabs page is minimized even though font preferences set to bigger size

when you hit the new tab button on firefox the entire firefox the font is tiny on the new page?

The state of the window when you start a program depends on four things: the default program settings, whether that window can be resized or not, whether that program " remembers " its last window size and position, and finally, the shortcut you used to launch that app.
Close Firefox when in Maximized window then relaunch
