Hello all and thanks im advanced for the help.
I am trying to make a switch from Kali to Parrot but im having install issues. I have used Rufus as I always do, to make a bootable USB. I dont get past the boot. Right after selecting “Live / Install” option, I get this error.

ACPI Error: No Handler for Region
ACPI Error: Region EmbeddControl
ACPI Error: Aborting Method due to previous error.

  • ParrotOS iso in use:
Parrot Security (MATE and KDE) Both give error

  • Application used for flashing the iso:
    Rufus

  • Logs/Terminal output (use pastebin or similar services):

  • Screenshots:

Hi! Don’t use Rufus to make a bootable USB, use Etcher, ROSA or DD: How to create a Parrot USB drive - Parrot Documentation

Maybe it’s your usb stick, try reformatting with G-parted or any other tool. I had used Rufus as well and nothing happend to me.
