I am currently using Parrot 4.5.1 Home edition with a x64 AMD processor

What method did you use to install Parrot? (Debian Standard / Debian GTK / parrot-experimental)

upon installation I opted for Normal installation

In short you cant.
You could use it as swap, but it wont work the same as RAM. Ideally you would look to upgrade you current RAM.
