i cant install wine on my parrot os HELP ME OUT

Hello. Why do you need wine32? It is an old version. Instead you can safely install wine64.

I have the same issue but I really need wine32 for running 32 bit exe app

“wine” is wine32. You’ve got it installed already. There’s something else going on with your system, as evidenced by the last line of output: “E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.”

Find them with “apt-mark hold” and deal with them first

Adding i386 architecture also didn’t work. Has wine32 ended? I get the same error as Wasim Shakir, I’m currently using parrot 5.16.0-12parrot1-amd64 (2022-03-11) x86_64

As this problem was reported a number of times since my post on April 11, it appears wine32 is not currently installable on Parrot. Normally I would advise to add the Kali repo to your sources.list and only install wine before commenting out the repo, but I don’t know if there would be repercussions if the Parrot devs added wine32 back to their repo.
