Installation failure Laptop

Hello everybody,

after 3 days of trying I’ve finally reached my breaking point,
so lets get to the point:

I can’t install parrot security version on my laptop.

  • Version : latest (4.4)

So I’ve tried both CD-ROM installation and usb here are the results:

USB

*Boots fine reaches the step where it “Detects and Mounts” and It fails.I’ve tried mounting myself with the mount command but even after creating the cdrom folder myself and placing everything inside nothing happened.

*Used rufus, etcher and 2 different usb sticks.

CD-ROM

*Everything goes fine untill the “Installing the System” step where it fails at 3%.

Please help :frowning:

For usb use etcher for making bootable

Have you perfectly selected partition for installing
My mean if you dual booting need to select primary partition by wipe and select most free space auto guided partition

Tried etcher but same result,

not trying to dual boot just want to install it.

I am now downloading parrotsec 4.3 incase the 4.4 is corrupt.

what did you change in your BIOS settings? was there an update from your manufacturer? do you understand what needs done to allow a UEFI bootable configuration with something like this (did you read the docuentation on Parrot OS UEFI help and Debian Handbook ?) It can be confusing due to the vast differences found between UEFI/BIOS manufacturers, some are better than others
