It’s not related to playing a video. Something must have changed to cause keyboard to stop working.
Did you drop it or maybe loosen a cable inside possibly? Hit a key that may have locked the keyboard?
As invasive as Google may be, Youtube/chrome does not break your keyboard
Ppl are going to need more info/logs to try to help you on this.

Apologies couldnt resist,
I once had a similar problem, I had managed to turn my keyboard and touch pad off, Solved with Fn F7, However Repeating the entry has only ever turned on/off the touchpad!
Hope you find a simple solution
