Left Mouse (USB) not working.

Briefly describe your issue below:

This morning, my left mouse button is not working (Logitech M570 with USB receiver). Right mouse and pointer works fine. I have tested it in another machine to verify mouse functionality. Host machine is a Lenovo T450s. FWIW, the trackpad left mouse button is intermittently working. Sometimes it works after reboot. Sometimes it does not, or is dreadfully slow. I looked at syslog and daemon.log, but do not see anything that would indicate the problem.

Touchpad left mouse button also works intermittently. I have tried using modprobe to remove and reinstall the mouse and usbhid. No effect. Verified Synaptics driver. No effect.
