I use parrot sec-64 bit Debian version. I m facing issues with su permission as I run it on live CD on my virtual box I m unable to access su. I had to use sudo for it but I need access to su and I need password for it. Because for live CD no guest was created so what’s the password for su. I have tried toor but its incorrect. Hope to get a response soon!!

Auhtentification failure when using su

If you want to use ‘su’ then you need to set the password first. I will say, i recommend just using ‘sudo’ where possible. You should not get into the habit of running su all of the time. But anyway. To set the root / su password, type sudo passwd root, enter your current password, then enter the ‘su’ password you want. You can also remove the ‘su’ password using sudo passwd -d root. Just saying.
