getting ready to switch from kali and had a question. is there a minimal release similar to kali? it looks like it might be the home edition but not sure, and wanted to double check. looking for the smallest install i can use and install only the items i am looking for.
Home Edition.
From here you can apt install parrot-tools, or less, the ones you need.

yeah you can use the home edition which do not contains the tools (pentesting or say cyber security stuffs)
from there you if you need you can install all tools at once or one by one
