My ParrotOS Has turned.. weird

– Well you see, I was messing around with ZSH and zinit, and after realizing I didn’t like what the terminal looked like, I just removed it. However, I restarted my VM, and everything was odd. The terminal is now white, my panels disappeared, and other minor changes. Any help to restoring it to like how a fresh install looks? Or do I need a new VM. I’d rather not because I got a lot of files/directories on here from boxes, as well as tools I’ve installed over time. I also do not have snapshots to before I was stupid. is there any way to somehow keep my files and get my terminal and stuff back to normal? –

Maybe you could create a new user and see if it restores everything as the starting point.

you are at default mate designs, you can customize it as you need, but no one click solution afaik.
Maybe you can now figure out your new taste just while customizing it!
