MySQL installation

Please help me to install mysql server and mysql workbanch step by step. I try a lot of versions but nothing was helpful.

There is probably a reason why Parrot and Kali have switched over to using MariaDB instead of MySQL, probably because MySQL is proprietary to Oracle. You can use DBeaver for graphical administration of MariaDB and it comes with Parrot Security pre-installed. MariaDB is GPL and MySQL compatible.

Also, Parrot is based on Debian’s testing branch called Bullseye, whereas MySQL does not (currently) support Bullseye. I went to attempt to install MySQL and got the following result. I don’t want to break my Parrot install by choosing Buster, but you can try it if MySQL Workbench is worth possibly screwing up your install. (I believe Ubuntu and possibly BackBox Linux supports MySQL.)
