Mysql is not working after update

Briefly describe your issue below:

mysql was working great after the latest updated , there was a message asking me to keep the configurtion or use the new one , i choosed use the new one ,
after the when i run mysql i get this :
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock’ (2)

any idea what is going on :confused:

What version of Parrot are you running? (include version, edition, and architecture)

What method did you use to install Parrot? (Debian Standard / Debian GTK / parrot-experimental)

am using latest parrot version ,

i need help guys,
this happens after last update :confused:

It is hard because we have no idea what happened. Do you have any information / error log /…?

i did it fix it , removed maria db and mysql entirly then installed it again
