I’ve had terrible luck with sound on Parrot, even on the newest 3.11.
I’m running an eMachine with 32 bit processor (I believe it’s a realtek soundcard)
Anyone have any ideas?

I’m aware. The first time, I wasn’t aware that there was a waiting period, and I had assumed the thread was lost due to a network issue. I’d appreciate it if an admin would close this one!
I used Parrot on many computers, with speakers/headphones, i even use apple headphone(only one i have), and it works without problem, so it’s probably your soundcard that is too old, but did you try searching drivers for your soundcard in the debian packages, or on the net ? It would help if you give us the serial name.
