I have just installed the Parrot program and when I try and load or open any of my Korganizer files the program will not load all the way, just runs and quits…I need to have a calendar program to keep track of schedules. any help appreciated.
Have you installed the KDE environment packages?

I dont use kde apps or desktop but I think that may be a kde package that may need different dependencies. You can find some info about desktop environments and their needs and some convictions with others in the Debian Wiki
