Briefly describe your issue below:

hey I was using parrot sec bu , I cannot install nvidia driver ,every time I try to install it I got trubles … like I lose my GUI (Xserver) so could you help me please!!

What version of Parrot are you running? (include version, edition, and architecture)

What method did you use to install Parrot? (Debian Standard / Debian GTK / parrot-experimental)

Configured to multiboot with other systems? (yes / no)

Please post your hardware specs. Have you searched the forum or the docs portal for solutions?

it’s cor i 5 , and nvidia nvs (4200) . is that enough

Maybe check the system requirements in our documentation portal and see if it is. I would also search this forum as many users have had problems with Nvidia

ok I installed it … but I cannot fix the bad resolution in my screen when usig nvidia … also I cannot run nvidia settings … I tried to run nvidia-settings in terminal but I got this :

ERROR: NVIDIA driver is not loaded

ERROR: Unable to load info from any available system

so how can I fix this … please

Please purge everything you done and make everything again but with our guide with installing nvidia driver. Also check post’s below.

sudo apt purge nvidia* bumblebee* primus*
