install the nvidia drivers, with (sudo apt install nvidia-driver -t backports) from here I could open the driver but it did not recognize the external display via hdmi (the display is in perfect condition) then I followed the parrot installation guide Nvidia drivers - Parrot Documentation and more of the same without success only that from here the driver did not work for me.
install. I attach the make.log and parrot.list in pastebin

It’s not the problem of only parrot but the whole Linux community. Let me guess, you are having an other onboard graphic card and system uses it by default? If yes, then well that’s it and it just doesn’t work for no reasons. I tried everything, including remove driver for onboard card, make nvidia be default graphic card. Hybrid graphic “tech” just messed everything. It works fine on PC, but not laptop.

Take a look at your make.log (line 511).

See my post towards the end of this topic: The new LTS kernel version 5.16.0-12 broke nvidia-driver - #18 by JayH

Do you have any idea what is this topic about? No you don’t

I thought it was about trying to get the nvidia drivers installed and working properly.

If that’s not the case, help me understand what it is.
