Official repos timing out/very slow

Briefly describe your issue below:
Have been trying to install updates from
https://deb.parrot.sh/parrot rolling InRelease
https://deb.parrot.sh/parrot rolling-security InRelease
Getting download speeds of around 20-60kbps dwindling down to nothing most often ending with connection failed.

I have tried with and without vpn, have ran a speed test and am getting my normal bandwidth. Have been trying for 8 hours. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Just letting you know that I had the exact same problem last night.
Extremely frustrating but I got updates to work a few minutes ago, still
slow but at least no ‘connection failed’ messages.
BTW I didn’t do anything special other than just keep trying updates at
a later time.

Yes there is a problem with updates.

I was able to get updates to go through and quickly by switching to another mirror from those listed at
https://docs.parrotlinux.org/mirror-list/
I personally used
deb https://mirror.dal10.us.leaseweb.net/parrot rolling main contrib non-free
and
deb https://mirror.dal10.us.leaseweb.net/parrot rolling-security main contrib non-free
Works great.
