first of all - hello Parrot OS Community! Ihave question - I use rsync for data backup. MWhich directories should I backup except /home? Is it possible to backup directories where programs are installed so that after restoring there is no need to install and configure them? If so, what directories are they? /usr? /etc? I am backing up my data with command: sudo rsync -r SOURCE DESTINATION.
you just would want to backup your /home directory including important hidden folders/files
like .config .thunderbird .mozilla … along this idea, so the settings and data to your apps.
The apps themselves you will need to install again in the new linux-installation.
Do not forget to make exports of database if you run a database server.
