Parrot Os crashed, cannot boot into parrot on restart

Hello,
in between my using, my parrot os got stuck and i had to restart. my system is a dual boot with windows11 and parrot os(both win and parrot on same ssd). after i restarted my system due to stuck, i can no longer get into parrot, boot directly goes to windows.

used a live usb, and i could see my files there but could’nt login to parrot (the grub menu is not showing)

any help in resolving this issue will be highly appreciated

Probably the easiest way to restore\repair Grub in a dual-boot configuration is to download Boot-Repair-Disk, create a bootable USB with it using Rufus, boot off of it, and use “Recommended repair”.

This is a common problem with Linux and W10/W11 dual boot systems, certain Windows updates breaks the Linux installation, you will need to repair/reinstall the Grub with either a live ISO or by using a propriotry fix such as boot-repair / Home / Home

Run your installer USB to boot Parrot, open a terminal and sudo update-grub.

reboot
