Parrot Security OS - Full Screen Issue

Briefly describe your issue below:
First time Parrot OS user,

I have followed many different tutorials and articles on how to get parrot sec os to become full screen.

I have run multiple commands for the additional guest install such as:

$sudo apt-get update (successful)
$ sudo apt-get install -y virtualbox-guest-utils (successful)
$ sudo apt-get install -y virtualbox-guest-x11 (successful)
$ reboot

My screen still doesn’t boot up in full screen.
Kinda lost and new to anything besides macOS and windows. Would love some help or advice

What version of Parrot are you running? (include version, edition, and architecture)

What method did you use to install Parrot? (Debian Standard / Debian GTK / parrot-experimental)
Oracle Virtualbox VM
Configured to multiboot with other systems? (yes / no)

I think it’s mate desktop manager related problem. Check this:

Why did you choose that instead of what we reccomend in our documentation though?
