Password for GRUB2

(mercy) #1

Parrot uses GRUB2 preinstalled. I want to set password for GRUB, but dont know how to. I’ve readed many mans described it, but I still can’t to set password - I’m reading this, but in my GRUB’s folder file /boot/grub/menu.lst is absent. Furthermore, I can’t find utility grub-md5-crypt within Parrot and Synaptic Package Manager so far. Does any guideline exist for Parrot to set password for GRUB and set a hashed password which is compatible with GRUB’s encrypted password algorithm (MD5)? Thanx!
