I have just installed parrot security os 3.11 64 bits and have an issue,why is parrot using too much resources when surfing the web,it nearly takes 90% of my ram,i’m thinking about reinstalling the parrot os which is the home version,also i installed it on a shitty pc which has 2gbs of ram,i’m an idiot so forgive to ask this stupid question

don’t trust the ram counter in the top panel
anyways the browser is a very complex piece of software and it needs a lot of resources to work properly, especially on heavy websites
on a brighter note the new firefox versions are very efficient , but you can also use epiphany-browser or other lightweight alternatives
