Briefly describe your issue below:
my screen keep flickering when ever i try to delete the empty text box in the search bar in the menu and also the search for the item to add to panel

I think it would help to everybody who reads this thread if you make a screenshot showing up those two areas which you were trying to delete (so we do not need to wonder exactly what areas you are talking about)

in the text box here and also the search for app in the menu which i cannot take screenshot for some reason

Oh never minded i think that i have fixed it
i accidently change a setting in the Mate tweak that change the window manager

But Exactly no one (Or only me) understand what really happened or what did you want to try
