Security Boot Failer | Acer Aspire 3

I’ve am trying to install ParrotOS 4.9.1, ( Parrot Security MATE ISO ) from a USB on my laptop (Acer Aspire 3). Since purchasing the laptop I have been able to disable secure boot and use Linux Mint but when I try and boot ParrotOS from USB it just gives me ‘Security Boot Failed’. Despite the fact I have disabled secure boot the problem persists. I was wondering if anyone else has found a work around this problem.

I’ve also verified my ISO file was legitimate through comparing the checksums.

Any advice on what I should try next will be greatly appreciated, if I can provide anymore information please let me know. Thank You

Well, that would never have been an issue.
One main thing is that use Balena Etcher to flash the iso so that no further issue arises.
And next thing about Security Boot Failed, as you are a dual boot user, have you tried disabling secure boot from the advanced options?
For that.

  1. Boot into windows, finish all usb burning things.
  2. While holding down the Shift key, go to start then choose Restart .
  3. Go to Troubleshoot.
  4. Select Advanced Options.
  5. Then click UEFI Firmware Settings .
  6. Again find the Secure Boot option, and switch it to Disabled .
  7. Save these changes and exit to allow the PC to reboot.
