su authentication error parrot 4.0.1

hello folks ,
i installed parrot os 4.0.1 and everything goes fine , but when i restart i try to access as root and he gaves me su authentication error

in previous 3.1 , the installation ask me for root password and in the new one asked me about the
-full name
-username
-password

how can i set su password in my situation or should i reinstall the system agian

sudo su (this set you as root)
passwd root (this change the root password)
