Not sure what 'permisison denied" is about. Didnt get any such errors few months back when i last used it. Worked flawlessly. It isnt network issue as i can access regular sites. Have too use Meek-azure or obsf4 sometimes when Local ISP blocks access in the area.
Researched a bit online, didnt come up with anything.

Could that be a firejail issue? Awaiting for any sort of help. Cheers!

hi,
how do you start tor-browser?
I just tried it on my vm and it starts as normal. started via Mate APP Menu

Is your user the owner of:
/home/user/.local/share/torbrowser/tbb/x86_64/tor-browser_en-US/Browser/TorBrowser/Data
?

Mate Application Menu.

Yes.

I reckon it maybe some issue with device timezone. However i cannot rectify it. All the timezones are set correctly. Sooner or later I’ll be flushing my device completely and reinstalling Psec 4.6 Mate Edition in a period of couple of weeks. Hopefully That’ll get rid of most of the errors.

Feel free to close this thread @rowie
Thanks.

but anonsurf is working?
pls try to figure out what s the problem … but if not,
then install the new 4.7

IT is, Indeed.

Been trying it for about a week now. I guess I’ll just have a fresh install after a couple of days since I do not need the use of tor browser a lot.

Thanks

Yup! As I suspected. The Issue was caused by time synchronization. Once the OS Time & Machine Time Were Synchronized, Everything is back to normal.

Cheers! :grinning:
