Unable to Install Chrome Browser

Briefly describe your issue below:

Hello,

Currently enjoying my newly installed Parrot 4.0 and the only issue I’m having is the inability to install Chrome. I download it directly from the Chrome website, but shortly thereafter, I get the error msg: “Software index is broken, this is a major failure of your software management system.”

Solutions tried: ‘sudo apt-get --fix-broken install’ and ‘sudo apt-get update’ have not worked and neither has 'sudo apt-get install -f ’

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Mike

What version of Parrot are you running? (include version, edition, and architecture)

What method did you use to install Parrot? (Debian Standard / Debian GTK / parrot-experimental)

Configured to multiboot with other systems? (yes / no)
