Update→mirror & E: /usr/bin/dpkg error code (100)

Hello !

I have Parrot OS 4.8 Mate installed.

Following this thread Creating swapfile: swapon failure I was able to solve swap using file with fallocate. Also in that thread I could see the OP update problems, which are mine at the moment.

It all starts with wanting to install the speedtest-cli package, and I could not install it in any way with the commands I know from Debian, nor can I update the system with parrot-upgrade

Are you using Anonsurf? (forbidden errors can be related to upgrading over Anonsurf)

I use it, but I read in the forum that you have to disconnect it to update and that’s what I do.
sudo anonsurf start
sudo anonsurf stop

Well, after digging around the net a lot and trying various dpkg commands, I got to this point, which is not resolved yet, but I see it better …

At least I managed to find a mirror that works in South America, since those in Brazil and Ecuador, at least for me, don’t work for me.

I found this one, it is not very fast but it is effective.
