UpdateCrashesVideoDriver

I have tested parrot on my desktop with complte success. I really like OS. When I installed on my laptop (Lenovo Ideapad upgraded); the screen crashes a mess of images and is completey unusable. I have tried to upgrade after fresh install twice with no success. Right now the laptop is running the OS fine without the upgrade. Unfortuately I can’t apt-get anything like putty without it. In Kali I would ecit my /etc/apt/sources.list but in Parrot is is read only not permitted even after i went to terminal and chod the change. Can you help with how to upgrade / update without killing my graphics driver? Or how to break the sources.list lock?

What’s the graphic card of your lenovo?
