usb wifi adapter connected but wifi says disconnected

Running Parrot on Virtualbox, in network connections, instead of showing me a list of wifi networks there’s just a greyed out ‘disconnected’ there. Problem is, it was fine yesterday when I used it.

I’ve checked iwconfig and ifconfig even checked Devices>USB on VB everything seems to be fine. Anyone know what caused this?

Running Parrot Security VM on Virtualbox 6.1.10

have you checked the network settings on virtual box it is nat or bridged?
if they are correct, please try restarting network manager
sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager.service OR
sudo service network-manager restart
