What is "killing dangerous application" when we start anon surf?

I wonder what “killing dangerous application” mean when we start anon surf in parrot. What is that? Isn’t anon surf is just like VPN? Why it need to kill application? And in this context, what is dangerous mean or why an application is dangerous? Thank you all Sir/Madam.

it’s just to close all the applications that were opened before annonsurf, he considers them dangerous because they were open with the protection of annonsurf ,so anonsurf restarts all these applications, with this protection
