WiFi is not getting connected

I have a peculiar problem. My WiFi is not getting connected on my laptop. Initially I thought it was the router but when I kept both my friend’s and my laptop side by side it was working fine on his. I checked if I was missing any drivers but no it is showing the showing all the connections available but not getting connected to them.

**version: **4.7 64 bit/ parrotsec

Install method: Debian standard

Configured to multiboot with other systems? no, it’s my primary os

Did you do a sudo apt-get upgrade or sudo parrot-upgrade recently? Further can you tell us if your Wi-Fi driver is iwlwifi by any chance?
