I can’t able to connect my WiFi after updating to version 4.8…still i can see the available networks.,but can’t able to connect them.,I have tried lot of things but it is not working…

Previous version i can able to work well… but after updating to new…I cannot…

Briefly describe your issue below:

What version of Parrot are you running? (include version (e.g. 4.6), edition(e.g. Home//KDE/OVA, etc.), and architecture (currently we only support amd64)

— Parrot GNU/Linux 4.8

What method did you use to install Parrot? (Debian Standard / Debian GTK / parrot-experimental)

— Debian Standard

Configured to multiboot with other systems? (yes / no)

— No

Hi!
Same here, after a fresh install using entry disk.I can see the avaliable networks but can’t conect. No mesage error.

I’m under Parrot os 4.8 too. Debian Standard NO Multiboot.

Adapter INFO:

  • Alfa Networks
  • Model: AWUS036NHA (Atheros AR9271)

ifconfig shows my adapter with strange name “wlx00c0ca987978” instead of the typical “wlan0” (I’m n00b maybe its normal in parrot but IDK) and can see (Ethernet) on the thescription instead of wifi.

Did you found a solution? Anyone can help us?

Thanks

Welcome to the ParrotOS Community :hugs:
you may need to install:- Atheros AR9271, AR7010 devices (ath9k_htc)
